Coaching is one of the most rewarding professions ever.

There is no other better feeling and being able to witness people’s greatness and being able to be my essence which is Heart, Compassion, Brilliance, Optimism, and Partner.

What this means is when I am in my essence I am my 100% true self. The opposite of it would be my survival mechanism which runs the show when I am not my true self.

Think of it as like a defensive mechanism, so basically when I am not my true self and I am being defensive for instance when people are criticizing me or when I feel like I am being attacked I am judgemental Guru, Optimistic Orphan, and Big Hero No.

Some of the main things I have learned from coaching so far is that…. Man we are really hard on ourselves. I know people that have accomplished such amazing things. Things beyond belief how incredible some of my clients are. People that compare to any normal human beings would be considered great but the common theme I see amongst high achievers is that they feel as if though they are capable of so much more. I do see this as well but pressure often leads to anxiety and other unhealthy consequences.

People need to set high goals and set a declaration. Having powerful declarations can be extremely helpful in accomplishing big goals. Having a powerful declaration and designing a project to help support you around these goals can mean the difference between hitting or getting that 30k raise that I helped one my clients with. No one said it would be easy but with having a powerful declaration that idea turns into something that is actionable and more real.

Trust and having faith in something bigger than yourself. I think when we tend to think just of ourselves, people can sense the desperation and people are good at feeling and seeing your intentions. Having good intentions is important because people genuinely can see through the bs.

We are all the same, no matter how successful a person is. Everyone has insecurities, even if they do not show it. We all do, there always the next promotion or next business idea to execute on. Please do not lose sight of the big picture. What is truly more important to you to become a millionaire or be the best wife or husband/mother/father possible? One is not more important than the other but often while chasing our dreams I find that people get to a point where they finally realize wow… I am totally missing the point here and they tend to regret the last 10 years of their lives.

I have found that altruism really does work and it is real. Lately, I have been super lucky and had a random stranger saw that I was stranded at the train station and while I was charging my phone to be able to call an uber he was nice enough to drive 20 minutes away to my destination. The random acts of kindness never goes away. I always get lucky and find money on the ground or whatever I do I always seem to see positive things happen to me. I would definitely say I am the luckiest person alive. I randomly get meetings with clients when I least expect it. People randomly reach out to me to tell me things that make my day on a regular basis.

There is no secret strategy it is simple as just being a good person and doing the right thing.

The random acts of kindness without truly expecting to receive something in return always results in amazing things.

I challenge you all to believe in something greater than yourself and do something really nice like write a really nice note to someone or even just pay for the next person’s coffee at Starbucks and do not expect anything in return. See how your life changes…

Let me know how this works for you.

Happy Wednesday all! Have a wonderful day!
