The abundance mindset

I would like to personally thank all of my mentors who have helped me build more of an abundance mindset.

I started fundraising this week because of my teammate Jordan Katz was raving so much about how profound of an experience his trip to Nepal was during our team meeting. @Zack Mulhall– one of my mentors has also shared with us his beautiful experience building schools with buildOn. I’m so grateful and fortunate for such an impactful community. I’ve blown to tears from the support I received in less than a week. Why this is important to me: I grew up being the first one to go to college in my family. My mother was a refugee escaping Vietnam for a better opportunity. I grew up living off of government assistance and I was fortunate enough to have a good education which allowed me to build a network to now be able to give back to others who did not have the same sort of educational opportunities. Here is the link to the cause with a summary of what Build On is all about. I appreciate all of the donors who have supported me so willingly, because of you I am already at $1,609. What that translates to is that I am so close to being able to go to Malawi.

I am so grateful for all of the support I have received in less than a week. I would never imagine even 5 years ago that I would capable of all of this. With Streetwise Partners coming to an end that was such a magical part of my journey to see all of my hard work interviewing, public speaking, mentorship, and all of the work I have done by reading and practicing to build my soft skills to be able to give back like that was by far one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever had in my life.

I am doing all of this while still hitting my goals at work. I am so grateful and happy that I have a balanced life. I appreciate you Peter Nguyen sharing with me best practices about how to raise money. Honestly, I didn’t think I would be able to reach my goals so quickly.

I never would imagine a life where I get to travel so much. The opportunity to have it all by working at your dream company, make an impact by helping companies and employees get promoted trained with leadership skills. Coach and literally change the lives of hundreds of people on a monthly basis on a personal level and be able to do the things I love to travel, meditation, yoga, fitness, and coaching all at once is such a privilege. #blessed
