The value of early morning routines

Lately I have been waking up early at 5am every morning to do my routine of 30 minute mediation, Crossfit, cleaning out my emails, meal prepping, ironing my clothes, and planning for the rest of the day. I also try to get my creative things done in the morning when its still quiet.

I am so grateful to have the morning to myself and be able to have me time. There is so much noise but the peacefulness of 6am in NYC is quite calming.

What does your morning routine look like? What could you not live without? For me, I have found mediation to be such a powerful step in my life to clear my mind and be able to focus right afterwards to set a purposeful day ahead of me.
