The power of networking
The power of networking
I am fortunate enough to be apart of so many different amazing networks where I can learn something new every day. Being extremely active in the Rutgers alumni network, Ivy, Asian- American orgs, the greek life communities, BNI(Business Network International), Landmark, Accomplishment Coaching, Reddit sales, and the list goes on has granted me a certain level of visibility and impact that I am forever grateful for. I am starting to see the power and the ability to change millions of lives. I have found a unique ability to get strangers to come together and have them be able to tell me their life story without judgment. It’s something that being in touch with it has created the most powerful couple of weeks of my life so far.
There is no better feeling than making a powerful connection to someone and seeing what comes to fruition from being a connector. I am fortunate to have a job where at TriNet that is the philosophy where everyone helps each other out and the world isn’t a zero-sum game.
We often think we are so different from people we have never met before or people who grew up in different areas of the world but in reality, everyone has a lot more in common when venturing past the surface. I really just think that everyone is searching for a community, for connection, love and I have realized we all just to want to be heard.
We live in a time where there are limitless possibilities. People I meet can do whatever they want. I meet people that have 3 degrees and multiple businesses. I meet people that move 3,000 miles away whenever they feel like it. I meet people that travel the world and still make a decent living. Everything and everyone is fascinating and complex. I cannot be more blessed being in the present moment. If anyone is ever feeling stuck feel free to reach out. I would be more than glad to help you or at least point you in the right direction if you need a gentle push.
I have learned that you cannot always do everything for other people because then the individual does not learn from his or her mistakes. What I can do is by a series of asking questions help the person come up with their own ah-ha moment as Oprah would say.
Lately, I have really been enjoying these following podcasts that help with being more present that has significantly helped me think big picture: Masters of Scale By Reid Hoffman, Finding Mastery By Michael Gervais, The Rich Roll podcast. In addition to going back to listening to music again rediscovering my love for music every now and then.
Some of my favorite recommendations for books are 1. Jeff Gordon’s biography- because of his work ethic and his ability to take risks. 2. Arnold Schwarzenegger’ autobiography called Total Recall was surprisingly one of my favorite books to read of all time. Similarly a lot of the people that make it to the #1 spot sacrifice a lot. Despite fears, they take action. 3. Tiger Wood’s biography was fascinating as well, and I have learned a lot about him that I didn’t know until buckling down and studying his psyche. He admits that he is not perfect and because of his vulnerability he is liked even more. It’s interesting how he is half Asian, but no one mentions that aspect of him when talking about breaking racial barriers. It’s as if Asians are invisible when it comes to athletics minus the Olympics is the only time I ever notice Asians mentioned in the media about sports in America.
I had an incredibly deep conversation with someone I met recently at the Rutgers Co-founders event that I hosted the other day, and I want to be able to help Asian Americans move up the corporate ladder by creating a community or mentorship. By providing resources that can help us get past the glass ceiling. I have the perfect opportunity to build that community right now.

Purpose: I create an empowering context for curious and hungry people looking for fulfillment, experiences, and creativity. We do this by developing their growth mindset, introducing self-love, and powerful group experiences. It results in people with strong boundaries, resilient mental health, and practical life skills
People leave with the ability to land their dream job, have autonomy and flexibility with their lifestyle, travel the world, and create from their heart and soul.
Why:
Davidson was once broke, insecure, low-confidence, and frustrated by doing all the wrong activities. Addicted to drugs, validation, and wallowing in self-pity. No relationship to family, and at the mercy of other people’s suggestions and opinions.
It was hell.
After spending $100k hiring different coaches, traveling the world doing workshops around the world, reading>1000 books, and through curiosity, have created the most effective system to remove people from that situation. My life’s work is to bring joy and abundance to people who as on a similar path as I was and bring back the joy and abundance of their life.
Through shared experiences and storytelling, I inspire and model behaviors that lead to a richer, more fulfilled life full of joy, experiences, passion, and ecstasy from the richness of relationships and being able to experience the depths of the human experience.
