Lake Placid trip
This extended Fourth of July weekend was truly memorable. I had a great time in Lake Placid, NY.
There something about nature which calms and sources me. I am proud of myself for summiting the highest mountain in NY state. Mt. Marcy was not an easy one, but it was one that we will remember forever. My Fitbit says I broke the 55k mark, which is quite impressive.

I am grateful for friendship, adventure, and being able to have the means to travel. We are blessed to be living in an age where we have the technology to go to upstate NYC.
We also watched fireworks on our kayak right underneath where they set them off. That was truly a beautiful experience.
